Nottinghamshire FA - developing football for everyone
Development - take your skills to the next level

Adult 11v11

The Nottinghamshire FA are looking to increase our support in the adult game. Throughout the coming months there will be a series of events and literature surrounding various aspects of adult football.

The need for support for adult football at grassroots level has become increasingly evident. This section of the website will provide information for all clubs to access. Areas such as funding schemes, club set up and charter standard adult club status will be documented. The Nottinghamshire FA will also look to introduce an adult football working group to try and address and resolve some of the issues adult clubs face in the game.

The 2010-2011 season will see four in service events which will support adult football within Nottinghamshire. The first will be in support of the EMPAL league who are looking to achieve Charter standard league status. This will see the first session on Sunday 12th September at Hucknall Town FC dedicated to EMPAL clubs. The in service events in the new year will see coaches from across the county invited to see specialist sessions in coaching attacking and defending, football psychology and Nutrition. FA regional coaches will work with a number of institutions including Nottingham University men’s first team and clubs at step 4,5,6 and 7 in the non-league pyramid.
