Charter Standard Adult Club Status

The Football Association Charter Standard Clubs Scheme is designed to help clubs at all levels improve the service they provide and assist them in raising standards and adopting good practice. The scheme also acts as a quality assurance benchmark and rewards well-run clubs.

The process to gain charter standard status as an adult club is less complicated than perceived. Adult Clubs require management, insurance, first aid qualifications and codes of conduct. To qualify as a stand alone adult club all teams must be U17 and above.
