FA Charter Standard Club
It doesn't matter whether you have one or 51 teams teams in your club. To achieve this award clubs must demonstrate they have the following:
- Constitution
- Codes of Conduct
- A designated volunteer to act as a Club Welfare Officer
- A qualified coach holding a Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football for each team at U16 and below. For all teams at U17 and above, each team requires a coach that holds a valid HSE approved first aid qualification
- Minimum of one coach who has successfully completed The FA Age Appropriate Coaching Introductory Module
- Annual club briefing to reinforce the club rules and Respect
- Every team to have a first aid kit available
- Insurance
FA Charter Standard Adult Club
To achieve this award, clubs that have senior teams (U17 and above) need to demonstrate that they have the following:
- Constitution
- Codes Of Conduct
- A coach who holds a valid HSE approved first aid qualification for each team at U17 and above
FA Charter Standard Development Club
To achieve this award a club must demonstrate all of the criteria needed to become an FA Charter Standard Club, plus demonstrate the following:
- Have a minimum of five teams across a minimum of four different age groups
- Have a Football Development Plan in place that has at least three years left to run at time of application
- Minimum of one coach that holds a Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football
- Minimum of one coach that holds The FA Youth Award Module 1 (enforced from July 2010)
FA Charter Standard Community Club
To achieve this award a club must demonstrate all of the criteria needed to become an FA Charter Standard Development Club, plus demonstrate the following:
- Hold at least one club workshop per season on addressing behavior and improving standards
- Have a minimum of ten teams, including at least one female only team, at least one male only team, at least one youth team and at least one adult team
- Have a Football Development Plan in place that has at least three years left to run at time of application
- Minimum of one coach who holds The FA Mentoring Award (enforced from July 2010)
- Minimum of one coach who holds The FA Youth Award
- Mentoring Award (enforced from July 2011)
Have a designated volunteer to act as a School Liaison Person
- Have a designated volunteer to act as a Volunteer Liaison Person

- Access to tickets for England Youth and Womens Internationals - Plus various other opportunities throughout the year that may arise (eg. Grassroots Live tickets, Womens FA Cup tickets, etc)
- Dedicated Club page on the Nottinghamshire FA website (Community Clubs only)
