The Scheme - which is the first of it's kind in the country - offers help and support to female coaches so that each individual can achieve their true potential.
The aim is to increase the number of active coaches in the East Midlands, with more than 50 turning up for the day long course at Dayncourt Sports College, Radcliffe-On-Trent, led by Paul Smalley, the East Midlands Regional Coach Development Manager, assisted by Lois Fiddler, England's Under 17 coach; Jane Haslam from Chesterfield Centre of Excellence; Sarah Green, from Nottingham Forest Ladies Centre of Excellence; and Gemma Grainger, FA Skills Coach.
