Southbank kick off against leaders

1:35 PM, Thursday, 21 August 08. News

Hucknall Rolls Leisure - very early leaders of the Precision Training Notts Senior League Senior Division - take their 100 per cent record to Gedling Southbank on Saturday, in what will be the home side's first fixture of the new season.

Southbank welcome former player of the year Joe Whittle back into their squad, along with long-term injury absentee Emmanuel Scott.

Basford United’s perfect start will be tested by champions Caribbean Cavaliers, who will be itching to get back to some kind of form after losing their first two games and currently propping up the table.

Third-place Wollaton travel to Ruddington Village looking to make it three wins out of three, while the only other side with maximum points from two fixtures – Notts Police – are without a game.

Awsworth Villa, who disposed of Cavaliers in impressive style during the week, host Keyworth at the Shilo. Keyworth’s one outing so far has resulted in a 4-1 drubbing at the hands of Magdala Amateurs.

Magdala themselves entertain an Attenborough side with just one point from their two outings to date.
