Karl Mitchell and Danny Thompson scored one each as the league leaders ran out 2-0 winners over bottom side Ruddington.
Bilborough Pelican and Basford United were surprised by two of the league’s in-form sides. Basford suffered a 3-2 home defeat to Bulwell, who are unbeaten in nine games - a run which has seen them climb to seventh in the table. Josh Cranny hit a double for Bulwell and Alan Jeffries netted a crucial third.
Lee Penley scored the only goal as Cotgrave beat Bilborough Pelican 1-0, inflicting the third defeat in four games on the champions while it means that Cotgrave have won four on the bounce.
Third place Hucknall Rolls and fourth place Boots Athletic shared the points in a 1-1 draw. Gareth Rees scored for the Chemists but Rolls top scorer Andy Start replied to earn them a draw.
Magdala Amateurs put some clear daylight between them and bottom side Ruddington with a 2-1 win over Notts Police who suffered their fourth straight loss. Kimberley were 2-0 winners over Keyworth with Lench and Fisher on the score-sheet, whilst Wollaton were 3-1 victors over Linby, with Samuels, Page and Cheetham all netting.
