Hucknall Town this evening return to league action at Watnall Road for the first time in nearly a month when they entertain local rivals Worksop Town (7.45 ko).

Following Saturday's excellent 3-2 victory over Stocksbridge Park Steels, Hucknall boss Danny Bryant was quick to praise the supporters who made the trip to cheer the side on and is hopeful of a few extra faces inside the ground this evening. "Our travelling support on Saturday was great and I hope we get a few more fans returning for tonight’s game.

"Worksop will want to come and test us and we have to be prepared to again battle against at is a good team. Their manager has brought in an experienced number two and no doubt they will want to take something from the game. They have good players and will certainly provide a stiff test.

"Our squad is starting to show signs of strength in depth and that is pleasing. Players who aren’t involved are still determined to come along, support those in front of them, and keep themselves ticking over.

“We don’t want to lose anybody and certainly the grass is not always greener elsewhere. Momentum towards the business end of the season is important as a club, team and individually as players. My message to the players is clear – show me you want to be here next season.”
