New Notts Amateur Alliance Premier Division leaders Santos will be confident of continuing their impressive form on Saturday when they follow up their narrow win over Kashmir by entertaining struggling Gedling Southbank A.
Santos now have a two-point lead over Aspley Beacon, who themselves travel to play Peacock United.
Burton Joyce – despite currently being no higher than fourth in the table and being held to a 2-2 draw by FC Samba last weekend – have games in hand which, if successful, will see them edge ahead of the pack. However, Burton Joyce are without a league game this weekend and will no doubt be watching with interest the progress of the team immediately above them – East Valley United – who are at home to Kashmir.
Bottom-of-the-table Calverton Miners’ Welfare B go to Trident in desperate need of points, while co-strugglers Nuthall sit this weekend out.
