I hope you’ve all enjoyed your summer break and are looking forward to the season ahead. As this is the first newsletter of the season, it’s only fair you are given an update as to what’s been going on behind the scene. It certainly hasn’t been a quiet summer for us!
I’m sure many of you are already aware that Tim Jones has left Nottinghamshire FA, he has moved on to a new challenge, and I think it’s fair to say he’ll be missed by all. Tim, thank you for all the hard work you put into helping with the Coaches Club, and I’m sure we’ll see you at future events!
In addition to this, we have had a slight reshuffle with job roles, and we want to keep you all up to date with the changes which may affect you:
Callum Convery is now Football Development Officer leading on all male participation, this includes both youth and adult participation.
Fiona Cantwell is now Football Development Officer leading on all workforce, this includes Coach Education, Coaches Club, Youth Council and Mentors.
Debbie Irving is our new Football Administrator leading on affiliations and coach education administration (Debbie is the new point of contact for all course queries, so you will no doubt get to know Debbie fairly quickly!)
One last update regarding staff is from Chris Dowhan, our County Coach Developer. I’m sure most of you are aware that Chris has been suffering with a bad back for a while now, he’s not one to give in but has finally made the decision to have the operation on his back to get it sorted once and for all. This means he will be out of action for a couple of months, but he wanted to make sure you were all of aware of his situation to know he’s not ignoring anyone. We are currently finalising plans to cover for Chris, so if you have any queries regarding courses or in-situ visits please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will make sure you don’t miss out whilst he’s off. From us all Chris, we wish you all the best in your recovery and look forward to seeing you back soon!
