Coaching Clinic Workshops

On Tuesday 23rd February, The Nottinghamshire FA invited coaches from all over the County to its first ever Coaching Clinic Workshop.

Designed to provide coaches with a clear understanding of The FA's Coaching Pathway, with each workshop focusing on specific stages of the journey.

Focusing on the 1st4Sport Level 2 Coaching Course, this workshop provided Nottinghamshire coaches with the perfect opportunity to come together, network and receive expert advice from The FA's County Coach Developer for Nottinghamshire, Chris Dowhan.

After receiving guidance on what it takes to pass the course, expectations and what the course content looks like, coaches are now looking towards booking the next available course.

Darren, a Pelican Colts FC coach, enjoyed the workshop and encouraged others to attend similar events: "Good event with a friendly atmosphere for coaches to network"

Michael, a Nottingham Trent University Student said: "I feel more confident approaching the course now that I know what the course is going to entail"

The Nottinghamshire FA are running a number of Coaching Clinic Workshops in the coming weeks with the next available workshop listed below:
