NOTTINGHAMSHIRE FA LAUNCHES NEW COACHES CLUB

This month sees the launch of Nottinghamshire FA’s Coaches Club, in association with Halliday Lighting.

This is a brand new and exciting programme which will help the continued development of the fantastic coaches working in our grassroots clubs. It is aimed at coaches of all levels, the new club will build on and add to the formal qualifications that coaches can already access.

Once you have signed up, there will be direct access to a monthly newsletter, which will be packed with information, news and resources about all things coaching.

There will also be a season long program of CDP events at locations all over the county on a variety of topics. At each of these events there will be coaching goodies up for grabs such as footballs, tactics boards and session planners through our free prize draw.

We have teamed up with two of Nottinghamshire’s professional clubs, Nottingham Forest and Notts County, which will see the clubs academies hosting CDP events throughout the season. We will be at the Forest Academy for an event in November, and Notts County are putting on a goalkeeping masterclass at the indoor academy pitch at Meadow Lane on January 18th 2018. Details of further events with the clubs will be released to club members nearer the time.

We are also delighted to announce that The FA Foundation phase (5-11 years) lead, Pete Sturgess is visiting us on Wednesday 6th December, where he will be delivering a workshop on the newly released FA Foundation phase DNA.

A number of other CPD events, delivered by FA Coach Educators will also be part of the programme.

In June we will finish the season off in style, Nottinghamshire FA Coaches Club members will be given the opportunity to attend our end of season event (a small charge will apply for this).

You can sign up for the Notts FA Coaches club TODAY, for FREE by clicking HERE

It’s FREE to join and will include all CPD events and a monthly newsletter.

The club will be launched on Monday 16th October at the Nottinghamshire FA offices. This will give the County FA staff, and Nottinghamshire’s County Coach Developer Chris Dowhan the opportunity to outline the programme and to seek feedback on what coaches want to see delivered.

Once you have signed up to the Coaches Club you will receive information on how you can sign up for the launch night, and for the CPD events.

This is a real step forward in the development of coaches within the county and we are really excited about the coming season.

Don’t delay – get involved – sign up today.
