Congratulations and Good Luck Melissa
Nottinghamshire FA would like to congratulate and wish good luck to development admin Melissa Burgin ahead of the Women’s FA Cup Final. Mel will be assistant referee on Sunday’s game between Manchester City Ladies and West Ham Ladies.
Level 4 referee Melissa Burgin (Sheffield and Hallamshire FA) joined the Nottinghamshire FA workforce earlier this year.
All at the organisation joined CEO Elaine Oram this morning to recognise the amazing appointment and wish Mel good luck. Nottinghamshire FA awarded Melissa with a commemorative silver plate, Elaine spoke on behalf of the staff ‘It’s a huge honour and we know that you will be amazing. We’ll all be supporting, many from the stands.’
Melissa has been refereeing for a number of years after completing the basic referee’s course back in 2011. ‘It’s an absolute honour to have been appointed as assistant referee to the FA Cup Final. It’s a fantastic group of girls to work with and I’m very excited to be a part of the team!’
