NOTTINGHAMSHIRE SET TO WELCOME ADDITIONAL SQUAD GIRLS PROVIDERS TO THE PROGRAMME

The Squad Girls Football programme aims to offer girls fun, relevant and engaging sessions that will allow them to develop themselves as well as their football skills in a safe and inclusive environment.

The sessions are specifically designed to give the girls a choice and a voice when taking part, it also aims to give them the freedom to develop their social identity, become a valued member of a team as well as building their own self-confidence through the fun and flexible approach of the Squad Girls Football programme. 

Joining our existing providers in the programme we are extremely excited to be welcoming Underwood Villa, Mansfield Town Football in the Community, Arnold Town and Girls Sports Club to the #NottsSQUAD and we look forward to seeing these clubs delivering the programme sessions within their own environments and offering another fun and safe opportunity for young girls to get involved in the game. We look forward to seeing these Clubs commence their weekly Squad girls’ sessions soon following completion of a series of training modules.
