Important guidelines for clubs on Player Registrations

For the New Newark Youth League NNYL clubs only the following are important guidelines for registering players for 2016/17

For season 2016-17, all player retention forms will be issued directly to club secretaries, via e-mail.
The completed forms are to be sent directly to Ted Harris the NNYL Registrar.

All forms must have been processed by Ted, prior to cards being produced by The Nottinghamshire Football Association (NFA).

For players being re-registered on retention forms if you submitted a photo of the player in 2015/16 then there is no need to send another photo UNLESS the likeness of the player is not appropriate.  If this is the case please complete the ‘replacement photos’ form in the related documents section below and submit this along with your retention form(s). If you did not submit a photo during 2015/16 of re-registered players then you MUST submit a new photo of the player.

PLEASE NOTE: A form of ID must be provided with all new registration forms along with a passport sized photo of the player. The types of ID that can be accepted are as follows:

  • Birth Certificate 
  • Passport 
  •  Health Card

You will need to provide a copy (no original copies to be sent) to attach to the registration form for Ted to check. The NFA will not require seeing these forms of ID as it will be NNYL responsibility to check these initially.
Important dates to note:

16th July 2016 - We ask for the re registration forms to be completed and returned back to us by this date so we can guarantee for them to be processed and ready by the start of the season. We do still accept these forms after this date, however we cannot guarantee they will be ready for the start of the season. The earlier you get completed form into your league registrar, the earlier they will be processed.

15th AUGUST 2016 - Any forms received after this date by the NFA cannot be guaranteed to be processed in time, for the commencement of the season – so please submit your completed forms to Ted Harris as soon as possible.

5th SEPTEMBER 2016 - Transfer forms are made available below in the related documents section.

16th MARCH 2017 - Last date for registrations and transfers to be received by the NFA.

PLEASE NOTE NO PLAYER REGISTRATIONS/TRANSFERS CAN BE ACTIONED AT THE NFA WITHOUT BEING SENT TO TED HARRIS WHO WILL FORWARD THE RELEVANT DOCUMENTATION ON

Fees for player registration:

  • £2.00 per player registration
  • £5.00 for transferring of players

No monies are to be sent with the registration forms as the NFA will invoice at a later date.

Upon receipt of the invoice, your club has 14 days in which to pay. Please ensure you pay as soon as possible as until monies are received, this may result in teams/clubs being suspended from fixtures.

SHOULD CLUBS WISH TO SUBMIT THEIR PHOTOGRAPHS ON A CD, THEN PLEASE ENSURE THAT EACH PHOTOGRAPH IS NAMED WITH THE CORRECT PLAYER.
