Female Football Opportunities are Growing Across Nottinghamshire

England’s success at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup captured the attention and hearts of the nation.

The bronze medal-winning Lionesses spoke of inspiring the next generation and creating a legacy. They certainly did just that – and The FA is here to foster that legacy.

It is our aim at The Nottinghamshire FA to engage with female players whatever their age or ability and to point them towards opportunities that are right for them.

Whether you’re a beginner and want to try football for the first time, want to push yourself at a higher level or maybe you’ve been away from the game for a period of time and wish to get back into it, there are opportunities for you.

Nottinghamshire FA Development Officers are available to assist in the development of all aspects of the women’s and girls’ game with the primary aim being to increase participation and improve access to local playing opportunities.
