Coaches Club CPD Events
We have got a jam packed program of CPD events running throughout the 2017/18 season.
The upcoming events will be advertised in this section to allow you to book online for free. We currently have 2 events taking place before Christmas, which are both full! Check out December’s newsletter where there will be more events advertised and available to book online.
Forest Academy – Tactics CPD Event
Our first Coaches Club CPD Event is to be hosted by Forest Academy. The evening will be focussed around tactics, and will involve a presentation by Forest Academy followed by an Under 15’s academy game against Burton where coaches will observe the first half, before returning back to the classroom to review the tactical elements. This event will be a great chance to learn from the experts around tactics and game preparation.
We were overwhelmed by your response to this event, with it being fully booked within 3 hours of going live! If you missed the chance to secure your place on this event, don’t worry as Forest are running more workshops throughout the season so there will be more opportunities coming up to book onto an event.
Pete Sturgess – FA Foundation Phase (5-11) Technical Lead
We are delighted to announce that on Monday 11th December 2017, Notts FA Coaches Club members will have the opportunity to see a workshop delivered by Pete Sturgess, who will be showcasing the recently released FA Foundation Phase DNA.
The Foundation Phase DNA is an exciting new resource for grassroots coaches, which is jam packed full of ideas, sessions, articles and videos based around the FA 4 Corner Model for long term player development. There are age specific sections which will be a real benefit to all coaches, but especially those entrusted with the footballing development of our youngest players.
