Notts FA Staff to Brave the Shave

Julie Mitchell, Nottinghamshire FA Football Administrator steps up to ‘Brave The Shave’ to raise money for Nottinghamshire MIND!

Nottinghamshire Mind work with people effected by mental health issues delivering a range of services including information and training, one to one support, peer support, self-help and volunteer development. We have chosen Nottinghamshire Mind as our charity of the year for the 2018/19 season, and have already raised £1,000!

Julie will ‘Brave The Shave’ on 7th December which we will be LIVE streaming on our Facebook, she is hoping to raise as much money as possible for the charity and to increase awareness of Nottinghamshire Mind.

Julie Mitchell said: “I’m not sure if I have chosen the right time of year to commit to this but hey, it’s for a great cause. We have all been affected in some way by mental health and charities like MIND play a vital role in offering support to people that need it the most.”

“Local MIND charities don’t get the same funding the national charity do, so they rely solely on donations like this. Please donate anything you can, to help us raise as much as possible for such a great charity! We really are grateful for everybody’s support.”

Here are the fundraising goals we have set for Julies ‘Brave The Shave’ and whoever gives the highest donation will be the one to give Julie the shave!
