Grassroots Football Awards

If you aren't already aware, nominations are now open for The FA and McDonald’s Grassroots Football Awards 2018.

The awards recognise how grassroots leagues, clubs, volunteers and community projects play their part in making the nation’s favourite game happen week in and week out up and down the country. Nominations capture The FA’s ‘For All’ ethos and will be judged upon The FA’s values of Progressive, Respectful, Inclusive, Determined and Excellent, or PRIDE for short.

The awards categories this year are;
Coach of the Year - Do you know a coach based in Nottinghamshire that is an outstanding, inspirational role model that inspires for greatness For All?
Community Project of the Year –
Is there an individual or group in Nottinghamshire that works hard to make a positive difference in our community?
Charter Standard Club of the Year –
Has your Nottinghamshire based club made match days something to look forward to, using new formats to attract and welcome everyone in their community?

Make sure you nominate any person, club or league who you think deserves to gain recognition for their ongoing work within grassroots football.

Nominations for the McDonald’s Grassroots Football Awards are open until 15th June, so don’t miss your chance! Nominate here.

It would also be great if you could share the nomination process around your club officials, volunteers and supporters to encourage more people to nominate their grassroots heroes in The FA and McDonald’s Grassroots Football Awards 2018.
