The FA Coach Mentor Programme

The FA Coach Mentor Program entered its 4th full season in 2017/18, with 350 Mentors throughout the country working with thousands of coaches, in an effort to improve and support the delivery of coaching in grassroots clubs.

The Mentor program supports coaches in their own environment, by working with clubs and individuals at training and at match days to offer advice, guidance, ideas and support to get coaches better at delivering to their players.

Nottinghamshire has access to 5 Coach Mentors, who are delivering a number of projects, working in clubs, with female coaches, BAME coaches, the Kickstart league and offering post course support to Level 1 and Level 2 coaches.

We are delighted to announce that the Notts FA coaches club has its own Coach Mentor, and so we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Beaumont.

Anthony, a Level 2 coach, has been a Mentor since the start of the project, and has worked with a number of clubs in the City and County. He is the Chair of Trowell FC, and is fully involved with coaching himself with Kimberley Miners Welfare, as well as supporting the coaches in his own club.

Anthony is ready willing and able to provide YOU with the support you need. Whether this be advice on an issue you have with your team, or support at training or a match day. In order to access Anthony’s support, simply drop him an email, outlining the support you’d like, and including your contact details
