Nottinghamshire FA Catch You in team October

Catch You In

The 2017-18 season will see the Notts FA more visible than ever, as staff and volunteers get out and about at games up and down the county to see if we can Catch You In.

As part of our drive to create a positive match day environment, to help develop coaches, and to support our young referees, Catch You In will see us meeting as many parents/carers/supporters/coaches/club officials as we can, on the lookout for good stuff, and people involved in our game doing some great things.

We know good stuff happens in our leagues up and down the county, week in week out, with our amazing volunteers giving up their valuable time to provide football for thousands of our young players.

So what is good stuff? Well it’s coaches and spectators showing that they remember that it’s just a game, that it should be fun for all, and that the development of our young players is really important.

Does the coach create a positive environment? Do they deliver a fun and inclusive warm up? Do they smile and engage with their players? Do they rotate the players? Do they show that the development of their players, all of their players, is more important than winning?

When we see it, we’ll note it and promote it on our social media sites, as well as our website using the hashtag #CatchYouIn.

So keep your eyes open for us at your games, as you never know when we will be there. We will be seeking the views of those watching. Finding out what they think of how the game is run, and the things that they think will make it better for everyone.

Our pictures show our team and some of the coaches we caught in during our Catch You In weekends in September, when we were in the Broxtowe area, and our October trip to Gedling.

Keep up to date with where we will be in the remaining months of the season, by keeping an eye on our website news pages and on twitter using the hashtag #CatchYouIn.

If you see us out an about, come and say hello, and carry on delivering the great stuff we know you deliver to your players.
