The youth section of AFC Mansfield became the latest Nottinghamshire club to be awarded Charter Standard status.
Club secretary Richard Weatherer was recently presented with the award by Nottinghamshire FA Football Development officer, Sara Dickinson.
Richard commented “Becoming a Charter Standard club is a really important step in the continuing development of our club. As we grow, we know that it’s vital that we have all the things in place to make the football experience, for all of our players, as good as it can be”
The club’s youth section has seven teams ranging from U10s to U18s, with close links to the senior team, who play at step 5 of the National League System, in the Northern Counties East Premier league. Nottinghamshire FA send their congratulations to everyone at the club, and look forward to their continued development.
