The Nottinghamshire Football Association is looking to appoint a full time Football Development
Officer with lead responsibility for Referees.
Reporting directly to the Head of Football Operations, the successful applicant will be required to
support delivery of The FA National Game Strategy, FA Referee Strategy and the
Nottinghamshire FA Business Strategy.
The role will lead on the recruitment, retention and development of referees in Nottinghamshire
whilst contributing to the effective implementation of The FA’s Safeguarding Operating Standard
for County FA’s.
Good communication, interpersonal and influencing skills are essential to this role along with
experience of refereeing and/or referee development.
Whilst the role is office based you will be required to have a flexible approach to working hours
as these may include evenings and weekends. Due to the current Covid-19 situation the ability
to work remotely is required.
The successful applicant must hold a valid and current driving licence.
