The FA has reintroduced IT grants available to FA affiliated leagues throughout the 2018/19 season.

Leagues which are using either FA Full Time or Whole Game System Player Registration are eligible for up to £1500 to be claimed against the purchase of new IT equipment.

Since the introduction of the Whole Game System a significant amount of league administration is now online. Over 55% of grassroots football now uses online player registration along with the launch of the new Matchday app this season, increasing the requirement for leagues to be online.

Therefore leagues can secure funding against the purchase of equipment such as:-

  • Computer, laptop or tablet
  • Monitor, mouse and keyboard
  • Printer, ID Card printer
  • Multi-function device (all in one printer, scanner, photocopier)
  • Laminator
  • Telephone
  • Software
  • External hard drive
  • Digital camera

In order for the league to secure funding it must meet the criteria. The amount of funding available is dependent on the size of the league, with a minimum bursary of £360 and maximum bursary of £1500.

Applications are now submitted online and can be accessed by the below ling. A completed application must contain an attached copy of the receipts of purchase, which will be approved by your local County FA, then processed by The FA for payment.
